METRO SENATORS 2024 SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN

2024 Spring / Summer Season

13u and 14u Programs:

  • (FALL 2024 SEASON) 
  • Game Total: 20-30
  • NVTBL Local Games: 12-16
  • Tournaments:  (3-5 events) 

Practices will begin in mid to late August.  Game play will begin in September, following Labor Day weekend.  The season will run through mid November.  Practices will be held weekly throughout the season.  Mid-week activities will include team practices, positional workouts and scrimmages.  NVTBL games will take place on weekends only with the exception of rain make-ups.  Weekends will consist of local DH’s and tournament play.  Individual team tournament and league schedules will be made available after roster selection at your pre-season meetings.  Open Hitters Club times at the Metro Facility are available one a daily basic in season from Aug 1 – Nov 15.  Families should plan for team activities 3-4 days per week with additional optional workouts and facility times on a daily basis throughout the season.

Additional Program Details:

Each team will practice routinely throughout the season once or twice a week depending on game schedules each week. Families should prepare for this to be on average a 4-day commitment every week. Practices will be held at the Metropolitan Baseball Academy Indoor Complex along with local Fairfax County fields. Weekday games and practices will begin sometime between 5 pm and 8 pm. Weekend activities will include NVTBL league games, along with tournament play. Some tournaments will be out-of-town events. The PSL team, National team and other high-school aged teams should plan on more out-of-town travel than the middle-school aged programs.
